A full rest in the summer is the key to successful study in the new year. Proper relaxation is a healthy balance of sports, new discoveries and exciting projects. During the summer holidays foreign students living in hostels No. 5, 6, 7 discovered not only the architectural monuments of Minsk, but also the picturesque park areas.
In mid-July the guys visited the park named after the great Belarusian poet Yanka Kupala, located on the banks of the Svisloch River. Fresh air and an atmosphere of complete tranquility in the very center of a large metropolis left no one indifferent. The sculptural composition with a fountain, reflecting one of the moments of the national holiday Kupalle was particularly impressive.
Then the guys went to the Central Botanical Garden, which is rightfully one of the largest botanical gardens in Europe. Students got acquainted with the history of the botanical garden, its landscape architecture and layout, including the most interesting corners of the garden and expositions, as well as decorative flower collections, trees and flowering shrubs. The exposition “Flowers of the World” and the lake with floating white swans left unforgettable impressions. Walking along the shady alleys of the botanical garden with many amazing rare trees and plants from all over the world contributed to a wonderful relaxation and inner peace of mind, given that at this time of the year the botanical garden is especially beautiful.
