Representatives of three higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus - candidate of philological sciences, associate professor, head of the department of the Belarusian and Russian languages of the Belarusian State Medical University, deputy chairman of the Belarusian Public Association of Teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language Tatyana Melnikova; Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching the Russian Language as a Foreign of the Belarusian State University Elena Bobrovskaya; Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Speech Culture of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Public Association of Teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language Svetlana Khoroneko - took part in an international scientific project implemented as part of a grant from the Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund of the CIS Member States. The project “Actual motivational attitudes in the study of the Russian language is an integral step towards creating the prestige of its development” combined the educational space of the countries of the Commonwealth with the aim of studying the issues of motivating students in teaching Russian as non-native and foreign. The project partner was Russian New University (Moscow, Russia).
The international scientific-practical conference “Traditions and Innovations of Russian Studies in the Cultural Space of the CIS: State and Prospects”, which took place on November 4-5, 2019 in the capital of Moldova at Tiraspol State University, was dedicated to summarizing the program.
The participants were teachers, students, graduate students of universities in Belarus, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan; representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo and the media of the Republic of Moldova.
Within the framework of the scientific-practical conference, 5 sections worked:
- “The current state of the problems of studying the Russian language in the cultural space of the CIS”;
- “Modern methods and technological innovations in teaching Russian language and literature”;
- “Linguistic and cultural studies, problems of intercultural communication in the process of learning the Russian language”;
- “Linguistic and methodological aspects of the motivation for studying the Russian language by representatives of different cultural spaces”;
- “Text in the system of teaching the Russian language and literature”
The round table on November 05 became a discussion platform for discussing didactic and sociocultural problems of the modern educational space of the CIS.
Professional communication of the participants of the international forum continued in the museum of Alexander Pushkin in Chisinau.
The main result of the project can be considered not only a sociocultural study, written articles, discussion at the conference of the most important problems of education and teaching of the Russian language, adoption of a resolution with clearly defined vectors of international cooperation and co-creation, but also the professional and friendly atmosphere that was developed during the work.
