Bilateral cooperation with the Orenburg State Medical University in the field of pediatrics has been successfully developing for last years. The 1st Department of Pediatric Diseases of the Belarusian State Medical University under the guidance of an outstanding pediatrician, nephrologist, Academician A.V.Sukalo and the Department of Faculty Pediatrics of the Orenburg State Medical University under the guidance of the famous pediatrician, nephrologist professor A.А.Vyalkova has also longstanding partner relationships and friendship.
The Agreement on Academic and Scientific Cooperation between the Orenburg State Medical University and the Belarusian State Medical University was signed in 2017 within the framework of the IV Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia in Moscow. This interuniversity agreement served as a new impetus to deepen partnership relations.
On August 22, 2018 the videoconference entitled “Preventive and clinical pediatrics: modern technologies for early diagnosis and prevention” was held. Vice-Rector for International Relations V.V.Roudenok opened the videoconference with welcoming speech noting the importance of partnership with the Orenburg State Medical University and stressing the desire of our university to deepen cooperation not only in pediatrics, but also in other areas of healthcare.
The binary lecture was made by professor, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Academician A.A.Vyalkova (Orenburg State Medical University), and by associate professor of the 1st Department of Pediatric Diseases I.A.Kozyro (Belarusian State Medical University).
Bilateral videoconference is a good way of cooperation because it allows to exchange experience and knowledge with BSMU foreign partners all over the world without borders.
