Then they went to the city of Beryozovka, where at the Nyoman glassworks, students got acquainted with recipes and the technology for manufacturing colored glass and crystal. Genuine interest was caused by the factory museum, which presents the work of glass-blowing artists, and all the best that was created at the glass factory in the period of the 50-90s of the XX century.
At the end of the trip, students visited the second largest city in the Grodno region - Lida. This city boasts a rich history and modern heritage. Without a doubt, the most famous landmark of Lida is Gedymin Castle or Lida Castle. Students' interest was heightened by a huge number of legends inextricably linked with the life of the castle and the name of the city.
As part of the excursion program, the students honored the memory of the dead Soviet soldiers by laying flowers at the memorials.
Students learned a lot of interesting and new things about the country where they are now studying and living, got acquainted with the historical past of the Belarusian people, joined the Belarusian culture, paid tribute to the fallen soldiers. The tour left a lot of impressions and positive emotions. Communication with each other, acquaintance with interesting historical facts, all this helped students to have a good rest and have a good time.
