June is a rush period for the graduates of all educational institutions of Belarus. These days state exams are held at the Belarusian State Medical University.
There are 1062 graduates at BSMU from Faculty of General Medicine, Pediatric Faculty, Dental Faculty, Faculty of Preventive Medicine, Pharmaceutical Faculty, Faculty of Military Medicine and Medical Faculty for International Students. All the graduates pass the most important exam in their life – they demonstrate their knowledge accumulated for the whole period of study. Graduates pass the exams in certain disciplines to members of State Examination Commissions. The list of exams is provided by the curriculum of the specialties in which graduates studied.
Rector of the Belarusian State Medical University Anatol V. Sikorski emphasized:
“This year, state exams are held with reference to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. In this regard, strict sanitary and anti-epidemic measures have been taken aimed at preserving the health of both examiners and examinees, and a stable epidemiological situation at the university as a whole”.
According to the chairmen of the state examination commissions, graduates demonstrate good and excellent knowledge. This gives us enough grounds to guarantee that in the near future the field of domestic health care will be reinforced by highly qualified physicians, dentists and pharmacists who are able to fulfill their professional duties at the proper level.
