The State Examination Board at the Medical Faculty for International Students of the Belarusian State Medical University has completed its work. The final assessment included an assessment of theoretical and practical training in three major disciplines of each specialty. State examination board took exams in compliance with the necessary security measures in connection with the current epidemiological situation.
The state board included representatives of the faculty staff with rich experience in practical and teaching activities, doctors and candidates of sciences, professors and associate professors, as well as representatives of the practical health care and state pharmacy network “Belpharmatsiya”, who objectively assessed the knowledge of graduates.
228 graduates (including 62 studying in English) of fifth (dentists and pharmacists) and sixth (general medicine students) courses passed the final test of knowledge. 108 graduates (including 19 studying in English) of “General Medicine” specialty passed exams in internal and surgical diseases, as well as on obstetrics and gynecology. Dental graduates (109 people including 43 studying in English) passed state exams in therapeutic dentistry, surgical dentistry with maxillofacial surgery and orthopedic dentistry. Graduate pharmacists were examined in three disciplines: pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical technology, organization and economics of pharmacy.
Foreign graduates demonstrated solid knowledge in various fields of practical health care and pharmacy. The most distinguished students received the highest mark in three exams: Mohammad Moslemi (Iran), (General medicine, English language of study), Aleksey Le Kleir (United States of America) (Dentistry, English language of study) and Fakih Hussein (Lebanon) (Dentistry, Russian language of study).
Graduates Irina Boykova (Georgia), Charyyar Garlyev (Turkmenistan), Shahide Khudaykulova (Turkmenistan), Yana Shilina (Russian Federation), Mohammad Moslemi (Iran), who studied in the specialty “General Medicine”, and Aleksey Le Kleir (United States of America), who studied in the specialty “Dentistry” will be awarded diplomas with honors.
After successfully passing the state exams, young specialists, doctors and pharmacists will leave the walls of our Almamater.
