“The Cultural Heritage of Antiquity and Modernity”

The contest of students’ artistic works “The Cultural Heritage of Antiquity and Modernity” was held in mid-April at the Department of Classical Philology of Belarusian State University along with the Women’s Union. Students of BSU, BSMU, students of Minsk Medical Colleges No. 1 and No. 2, as well as students of secondary schools and gymnasiums took part in the contest.

The leading medical university of Belarus was represented by the 1st year group 6106 of the Medical Faculty for International Students who worked under Natalia Kruglik’s guidance (Associate Professor, Head of the Latin Language Department).

As a result, the contest turned out to be prize-winning for the medical students. Future physician Taisia Korotkikh was awarded II Degree diploma in the nomination “Poster”; Ulyana Petlyova and Valeria Motolko were honoured with certificates of acknowledgement. Nikita Nakhli also got the certificate, but in the nomination “Music”.

An awarding ceremony for the distinguished contestants was held at the meeting of the Medical Faculty for International Students Council. It was conducted by the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Oleg Ishutin. He congratulated the students on their good results and wished them to achieve new goals.
