Smolensk State Medical University hosted the IX All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists with International Participation «Topical Issues of Science in the XXI Century». This year, the Conference hosted 31 sections (the main 24 sections were devoted to the fundamental humanitarian and clinical disciplines; 5 sections were devoted to the works of young scientists; there were separate sections for students of general educational institutions and posters). More than 800 participants were officially registered and 450 scientific reports were presented.
Vanessa Gutnik, a 5-year student of the General Medicine Faculty, presented her report «Etiopathogenetic aspects of hereditary epidermolysis bullosa» at the «Pathological Physiology» section under the scientific supervision of Sergey Chepelev, Senior Lecturer of the Pathological Physiology Department. In total, 15 reports were presented at this section.
The speakers delivered their reports online using the Zoom platform. The Head of the Pathological Physiology Department of Smolensk State Medical University, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Olga Khalepo gave a welcoming speech to the participants.
As a result, Vanessa Gutnick’s scientific work was awarded III degree diploma.
