Over 400 students from 42 Russian and CIS countries, including the Republic of Belarus, took part in the VII All-Russian Student Scientific-Educational Conference with international participation “Topical Issues of Medical Student Science and Education”. It was held at Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov.
The presented scientific works were classified into 13 sections (“Morphological Sciences”; “Fundamental Sciences”; “Preventive Medicine”; “Pediatric Diseases”; “Infectious Diseases, Skin Diseases, STDs, Microbiology”; “Psychiatry, Neurology and Psychology”; “Therapy”; “Surgery-1”; “Surgery-2”; “Obstetrics and Gynecology”; “Pharmacy”; “Stomatology”; “Medical Deontology, History, Economics and Pedagogy”), where more than 200 reports were presented in total.
On the section “Fundamental Sciences” was presented a poster work by a 4th year student of the Pharmaceutical Faculty, Arina Zhogalskaya. The work “The role of neutrophils/lymphocytes ratio in the development of cardiovascular pathologies” was carried out under the scientific supervision of the Senior Lecturer of the Pathological Physiology Department, Darya Pisarik. Based on the results of the section, the work was awarded III degree Diploma.
