The senior lecturer of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Belarusian State Medical University research was awarded the first place at IX Belarusian-Chinese Youth Innovation Forum

IX Belarusian-Chinese Youth Innovation Forum "New Horizons – 2022" was held on November 10-11 at BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park. The purpose of the forum is to promote the development of cooperation between students, young scientists of Belarus and China on the creation and getting of development results, as well as the mutual enrichment of national cultures. Students, undergraduates, postgraduates and young scientists from universities of the two countries participated in this event.

Olga Sechko, senior lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Belarusian State Medical University, presented an innovative research project entitled "A new compound with anti-tuberculosis activity". In addition, Yanina Nekrashevich, a PhD student of the Department of Pharmacy Organization, and Maria Krivonosova, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, presented their scientific works at the forum.

By the decision of the competent jury, Olga Sechko's research was awarded the first place in the section "Healthcare. Veterinary medicine. Medicine". Yanina Nekrasevich and Maria Krivonosova were awarded certificates of participants.

It should be noted that the program of IX Belarusian-Chinese Youth Innovation Forum "New Horizons – 2022" included not only plenary and breakout sessions, but also an excursion part.

On November 11, novice scientists visited The Great Stone Industrial Park, where they got acquainted with the activities of the research and development center, other divisions of the industrial park.
