The Rector of BSMU and the Head of the diplomatic mission of Palestine in Belarus considered the possibilities of cooperation

Prospects for the development of cooperation between the Belarusian State Medical University and specialized universities of Palestine were discussed at the talks of the Rector of the Belarusian State Medical University, Corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Sergei Rubnikovich and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Belarus, Ahmed Mohammed al-Madbuh, whose diplomatic mission in Minsk began a few months ago.

The Rector of BSMU acquainted the Head of the Palestinian diplomatic mission with the activities of the leading medical institution of higher education, answered questions.

During the conversation, which was also attended by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vasili Roudenok and the Counsellor of the Embassy of the State of Palestine Nabil Bourchalli, Mister Ahmed Mohammed al-Madbuh offered to organize exchanges of teachers and students, share medical experience in traumatology and orthopedics, military medicine and others areas of the medical field. The participants of the meeting found a lot of common ground in various areas, including the fact that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Belarus has a degree in medicine.

In addition, for the guests was organized a tour of the university, at the end of which Sergei Rubnikovich and Mister Ahmed Mohammed al-Madbuh handed each other symbolic gifts.
