The annual international online conference «Horizons of Pediatric Surgery» was held on March 23

It presented the results of scientific works of students from medical universities in Minsk, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Aktobe, Stavropol, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Grodno.

Future doctors from all universities brilliantly talked about the most pressing problems of pediatric surgery and the results of work in this direction.

Students of group 2617 of the Pediatric Faculty of  Belarusian State Medical University Anna Bolotnik and Daria Verbitskaya, under the guidance of the head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vasily Averin, prepared and presented a scientific paper on the topic "Complications of Meckel's diverticulum", highlighting the general aspects of the pathology of Meckel's diverticulum, as well as the experience of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Surgery in this area.

Following the results of the conference, an authoritative jury recognized the scientific work of students from the leading medical university of Belarus as the best and awarded them the first place!

We congratulate Anna Bolotnik, Daria Verbitskaya and Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vasily Averin on their victory and wish them new achievements in the scientific field.
