Students of the Faculty of General Medicine and the Pediatric Faculty made presentations at Almazov National Medical Research Centre

From May 16 to 21, students of the Belarusian State Medical University Yana Trukhanovich, Vladislav Konchak (Faculty of General Medicine), Maria Filipovich (Pediatric Faculty), and an intern of the "Minsk City Clinical Center for Child Psychiatry and Psychotherapy" Ekaterina Borovaya took part in the Almaz Youth Medical Forum with international participation and the 6th Saint Petersburg Medical Innovation Forum, which was held at Almazov National Medical Research Centre (St. Petersburg, Russian Federation).

Members of the Belarusian delegation presented reports within the framework of the section "Organization of Health and Public Health". The Presidium of the section highly appreciated the relevance and significance of scientific works carried out within the walls of our Alma Mater under the guidance of the First Vice-Rector of Belarusian State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Irina Moroz.

In addition, the forum participants had the opportunity to attend educational trainings, lectures, master classes dedicated to the latest achievements of modern medical science and practice, as well as problems of diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of pathologies. Of particular interest was the analysis of clinical cases, which included a discussion of approaches to diagnosis and tactics of treatment of various diseases.

The events were held within the framework of the program of the world-class scientific structure "Center for Personalized Medicine" with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

In their free time, representatives of Belarusian State Medical University visited the sights of the Northern capital – the Mariinsky Theater, the Peterhof Palace and Park complex, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Kunstkammer, the Hermitage and many others.
