The II Republican Forum of Young Scientists of Higher Education Institutions was held with the participation of teachers of BSMU

On May 18-19, the II Republican Forum of Young Scientists of Higher Education Institutions was held at Belarusian-Russian University. Its delegates were several hundred undergraduates, postgraduates, students, as well as representatives of the teaching staff of all institutions of higher education in our country. From the Belarusian State Medical University, the participants of the event were the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Anton Chisty and members of this council Daria Pisarik and Olga Sechko.

The forum was opened by the First Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Bakhanovich, the Rector of the Belarusian-Russian University Mikhail Lustenkov, the Deputy Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus Denis Kapsky, the Head of the Information and Analytical Department of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus Leonid Melnikov.

After the plenary session took place an introductory tour of the laboratories of the Belarusian-Russian University and master classes of its employees.

The second day began with a visit to popular science lectures by leading scientists of Belarus and Russia. For example, Associate Professor of the 2nd Department of Childhood Diseases of Belarusian State Medical University Natalia Mikulchik presented a lecture "Allergy: Myths and reality".

The forum was continued by a scientific conference of young scientists, where teachers of Belarusian State Medical University made presentations on "Assessment of adherence to treatment" (Anton Chisty) and "Analysis of the range of sunscreens of Belarusian and foreign production based on inorganic UV filters" (Olga Sechko).

In conclusion, it should be noted that within the framework of this large-scale event, Chairmen of the Councils of Young Scientists signed an Agreement on cooperation of all medical universities of the Republic of Belarus.
