A scientific-practical conference with international participation “Prospects for Research of Drug Products of Synthetic and Natural Origin” was held at BSMU last week. It was set by the Scientific Centre for Drugs and the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at State Medical and Pharmaceutical University named after Nicolae Testemitanu (Chisinau, the Republic of Moldova) and the Faculty of Pharmacy at Belarusian State Medical University. The partner of the conference was the Institute of Chemistry, Laboratory of Organic Synthesis and Biopharmacy (Chisinau).
The forum included 25 reports and 18 poster presentations. Reports were dedicated to the analysis of medicinal and plant raw materials, development of new medicines and dosage forms, as well as chemical neutralization of pharmaceutical waste.
Based on the feedback from the participants, the conference allowed the students to explore the pharmaceutical research carried out in the Republic of Moldova, to share their own expertise and to strengthen the cooperation between the universities.
