The experience of 2016 has shown that Teleconference served as the primary prerequisite for development of academic cooperation, exchange of experience in new methods, techniques and approaches in teaching Russian as a Foreign Language.
During the Teleconference the colleagues from different countries discussed issues related to methodology of teaching Russian as a Foreign Language with a focus on teaching of Indian students:
The participants of the Teleconference considered the development of distance learning of Russian as a foreign language. The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute (Moscow) can be considered as a flagship in the use of innovative teaching technologies, as well as the holding group “MKR-Media” (Omsk) that creates interesting media products for learning. The BSMU Department of Belarusian and Russian languages also presented the experimental distance course in Russian as a Foreign Language.
Significant increase in the number of reports and participants demonstrates the importance of the topics being discussed. In total, the organizing committee received about 200 applications with abstracts and reports from specialists of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Poland, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain. It should be noted that the opportunity to get acquainted with the advanced experience of teaching Russian as a Foreign Language attracted not only teachers, but also representatives of educational companies and publishing houses: Head of the educational company “Matey Abroad Education Consultancy Pvt.
