Student Club of BSMU was opened in 1965 in order to create favorable conditions for medical students’ amateur art and leisure development. Due to years of experience in the field of education, artistic and creative activities, students' club, as an institution of culture clubs, is a modern structure of cultural work at the University. A well-maintained hall with more than 800 seats, modern technical equipment, spacious rooms for cultural events allow to carry out the tasks of the club, contribute to the realization of club services, and to the development of intellectual and creative potential of the students.

Specialists of the student club organize and conduct numerous cultural events, provide stage direction, art, sound and music arrangement, carry out tasks assigned to the club such as development of cultural activities, organization of youth leisure, practical support of socially significant creative initiatives of the students. Working in close cooperation with faculties, departments and community organizations, taking into account students’ initiatives and social order, each event organized by the club becomes a celebration. Of course, calendar dates: professional, public and national holidays – are at the base of cultural events creation.
Organizational structure of the student club is represented by club groups, including folk theater, agitation and artistic team, amateur art groups and amateur youth groups with the participation of more than 500 students. In order to reveal gifted students, student club organizes the work of circles, amateur associations and art groups, and their participation in regional, city, national and international events.

In 2013, the organizational structure of the university student club is represented by 23 units and consists of 14 amateur art groups, including two theater collectives with the title «national», and 9 youth amateur associations.
