The Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Belarusian State Medical University was created in 2017. The first dean of the faculty was Professor Irina Moroz (2017-2018), Doctor of Medicine. Currently, the dean of the faculty is Associate Professor Oxana Teslova, PhD (Candidate of Medical Sciences).
The Faculty implements educational programs for advanced training, retraining, training courses and internships for healthcare professionals of therapeutic, surgical, pediatric, dental pharmaceutical specialties and in preventive medicine.
The educational process of postgraduate education is carried out by 40 structural divisions of the University. More than 200 lecturers are involved in the postgraduate educational process, of which more than 60% have the academic title of associate professor, and more than 20% have the academic title of professor.
The learning process is practice-oriented and teaching is carried out using simulation equipment. We use modern technical opportunities to provide remote access to educational process, communication and distance learning technologies, and objective structured clinical examination for certification.
In the process of training, considerable attention is paid to the health policy, priorities of health care, regulatory legal support for educational and medical activities, issues of medical ethics and deontology.
